collection of memories

Didn't have any special ocassion to really rant about lately.

Can't believe been here for 2 months, no, nearly 3 months. It's seriously dumbfounding sometimes when you close your eyes for what seem a minute and fell into delirium, just to open your lids and found that its another weekend wasted gone.

I found myself getting alot of the same questions from the same persons. Really something I don't understand actually. Ask yourselves. What would be the 1st question you love to ask zong when you see him? I could really guess actually what you might ask. Those ones...

Grandma: Why you so thin?
Grandma: Your mom got feed you or not? (follow up question from the above)
Relatives: You're really 23 years old?
Ding (and Probably most gals anyway but she asks without fail) : Got gf liao?
2nd Aunt: So today what time you go for work?
2nd Aunt: Are you late for work? (Yes each time she ask this somehow I felt that its more like a confirmation than a question, she asks this regardless of what time I left for work:let it be 7am/8am/8.30am)
Hye: When you coming to find me?
TC/Pura: Dota? <== LOL

I guess work nowadays are no longer limited that you work only in the office. Companies are smart that they provide you with laptops so that you could follow up at home, whihch undoubtly expands the boundaries of delivery. It's kinda cool that no one actually dictates what time I should come/leave the office but at the same time it would be really fearful not to be in the office. You wouldn't want somebody looking for you at your cube because you're not on the office communicator because you overslept or stuck in a traffic jam somehwere trying to reach the office. Then came the question that I myself been wondering. Is this what they called, "flexi hour"?

Still it's sometimes very annoying that each time I came home and my 2nd aunt pops her head up and ask me, with a sinister smile, "Late for work?" when I actually sometimes just do a shrug to indicate that "what time I reach actually doesn't matter considering I left office at 8pm and reach at 9pm?" I did remember there was once she replied to that shrug though, "Flexi hour meh? ***el practices flexi hour meh?" and then it was so memorable that I actually answered, " No la, you lagi flexible. I go out early you also can ejek. I go out late you lagi ejek. I reach late you ejek, I don't reach at all (meaning it is a holiday) also you lagi ejek!"

Here's a very thoughtful question asked by Win the other day. "So ah, you in Penang ah, your papa mama got miss you a?"

1st thing that came into my mind is: WTF?

She laugh at her own question like 2 secs after she realized what she just asked. So I toss back another thoughful question : "Eh, so ah, I should ask you oso la, your boyfren miss/love you o not a?"

We laughed.

It's been awhile since we talked and I guess there's no one in Kelantan would resemble me when it comes to talking stuffs like this (not topic wise but manner wise). At least in Penang you still have KTeng and ZeS is now back in KL so...

It's good to arrive early but it won't hurt arriving late: if you don't mind parking further from the office. Ironically the 3 days that I've reach at 9pm to park at Car Park B which was like across the football  field to the office, that 3 days I was in office until late 7 or 8pms and that 3 days, it was raining super heavily. I'm used to carry a smaller umbrella (which has been with me since like primary and yeah I did bring to CHS and MMU as well) in my bag so it wasn't so bad. Just that the umbrella was sort of broken at the support and was quite fragile. Actually had to match the direction of any incoming wind so that the umbrella wouldn't be toss away by the wind.

Ok you may ask. "Change umbrella?" Actually I had an umbrella in my car which I could bring down. Still, what I did not forsee was myself staying at office after 7pm. Everyday I reach the compound hesitating that should or should not bring it down (TBH wasn't quite a hassle actually) but each day I sort of promise myself to go back early and damn it I break my own resolution and the freaking rain always starts/or still pours at the time I have go back. Urgh! Weirdddddd!

Just finished watching Code Geass R2 Ep 25. Wraps up another series. So funny when you feel accomplished completing a drama/anime series, but at the same time if you really liked the series, you feel empty as that's another chapter of your life concluded. Sigh.

And life goes on. Closing this chapter now. Take care everyone.
